Just had new tires and Denso sensors installed, Sam's Club cant /wont program sensors to my 2014 Tacoma sport. Will this do all I need it to do to program the sensors to the ECU. I have the codes for the sensors .
I have read more about TPMS sensors, scanners, and programmers in the last couple of days that my head hurts. I have narrowed it down the TS501 but want to be sure before I purchase.

Yes. We have one of those at work at my toyota dealer. Thats a good price, 2 uses and it pays for itself.

Didn’t work for my sensors(dill REDI-sensors). Had to purchase a different scanner. Might try going to discount first and seeing if they’ll do it. It’s only a quick 5 minute deal.

Yes the TS501 will program the sensors into the trucks ECU, mine came yesterday and after doing the required registration and download update on my laptop to install the update into the Autel I was able to get the TS501 ready to use. It was able to read my newly installed Denso sensors (codes) ,I was then able to hook to the OBD2 port and install the codes to the ECU. My TPMS light then went out. Autel say that it will read almost every after market and OEM sensors. The only thing it won't do is clone non Autel sensors. You have to purchase their cloneable sensors or any other manufacturers Pre-Programed sensors.

I may buy the TS 501 and change my own tires. Question: what is the benefit of being able to clone a TPMS sensor? Thanks.

They sell sensors that are cloneable, which means if you have existing sensors that have a code you can copy that code onto the new sensors and the truck will not know that they have been replaced. Pre-programmed sensors have their own original code that needs to be programmed into the truck so they will be recognized.
