Will Nissan Frontier Wheels Fit On My Tacoma?

Would 2018 Nissan Frontier wheels fit my truck?

 

Are they 6 on 5.5 6x139.7

So will they fit on there but the backspacing will be different or will they just not fit on there at all?

 

It's the bolt pattern. Tacos are 6x5.5 Nissan is 6x4.5

It is true that the Frontier wheels will not fit the Tacoma’s, but it is because of the different hub size, not the bolt pattern.

The hub size for the Nissan is 100mm while Toyota utilizes a 106mm hub bore.
Both manufacturers utilize hub centric wheels from the factory. So with Toyota having a larger hub bore, Tacoma wheels will go onto a Frontier, but not the other way around.

In fact, the bolt pattern is the same for both the Frontier and Tacoma (6x139.7mm or 6x5.5”) but it’s the hub bore for the Frontier that means the wheels will not fit.

I'm a Toyota tech, former Nissan tech, and own an Xterra. They have unique patterns that dont match the rest of the industry.
