    Hello all.

I just received my order of Cragar Soft 8s from Summit Racing and, upon test fitting, found that they hit the calipers on my 1995 Tacoma 4x4.

Searching this forum I have seen pics of trucks with the Cragar D Windows but I cannot tell if these fit without spacers. I do not want to put spacers on my truck. Just one more potential problem, IMHO.

So, can I get a definitive answer? Will the Cragar D Window wheels clear the calipers on my truck?

No they will not. I have them on my truck but I have a 1/4 spacer from AutoZone and they fit fine with that. I have had them for 120K now and never had a issue. With just 1/4 spacer its not hurting anything. I think it cost maybe 5$ for the spacer. Buy it. I love mine.

Didn't know Autozone carried those. Did you install longer studs?

Yup they do, like i said never had one problem, and No i didn't. With only a quarter inch you really don't need to, plus those rims require Acorn style lug nuts that tend to sit a little further down in the rim.

Heres exactly what I have to show you what I'm talking about....

Theres gonna be people who say don't and that they are cheap, but they work. And i love my Cragars, they're strong as hell and the spacer doesn't mess with anything, and I have been through some really tough trails without issue. plus all the miles i have driven with them on.

Had the soft 8s on my 2002 dcab... Agreed that they will clear with a 1/4 spacer. I ran those for over 75k miles with no issues. No longer studs on my truck either.
