Will coolant eat through milk jugs?

Doing a coolant change and might not be able to drop off used coolant to disposal place for various logistical reasons right away. Safe to store old coolant in milk jugs for a few weeks? Or will it eventually leak because coolants are caustic?

Truth. Not to mention the radiator end tanks.

 

not all plastics are the same but your coolant will be fine in milk jugs.

 

Many years ago my roommate left old coolent, in plastic milk jugs, in the trunk of his car. It melted through. He had fun cleaning it up. YMMV
