Too difficult to say, as the 1GR is not exactly the cleanest running engine I've ever seen.

I barely passed with Doug Thorley Long Tube Headers and a 3” full cat-back exhaust. :)

Did you retain your Y pipe cats? Those headers don't have cats rights?

Had the OEM Y-pipe still intact. I did pass, I’ve heard/read that our emissions inspection is strict.

I always thought catless y pipes were technically "illegal" for on road use.

I just ordered this exact afe kit because my oem Y-pipe Cats got clogged.
The back pressure test came up too high. Dealership was asking 800 maple leaf bucks for two cats... I told them to fuck right off and pulled the trigger on this kit.
Im going to keep the oem parts in prevision of an emission test.
I must specify I am in Quebexico canada so there is no yearly inspections.

No, its still all stock...but the code went away. I think it may have been bad batch of gas. I got the gas on a military installation and shortly after the code showed. Drove till tank was empty, filled up at Chevron and light goes away.

Did you end up passing the smog test? Did you notice much of a difference in power?
