I like these 2nd gen Baja wheels. the specs are
    16x7
    30mm offset
    bolt pattern 6 on 139.7mm

The Wheels I have on my 2019 TRD off road now are
    16x7
    25mm offset
    bolt pattern 6 on 139.7mm

The Toyota parts website says it won't fit? is that because of the 5mm difference in the offset?
Wondering if anyone has tried to put this wheels on a 3rd gen Tacoma. ifs did it fit.

This will fit fine and be a nice improvement to the current two-tone Off Road wheels.

As long as the center bore is 106 you're good to go the rest is good.

Thanks I'm not sure what the center bore on these are, but will look into it.

Try this offset calculator it will give you an idea what the difference will be.

They should fit; but I would avoid them.
It will move scrub radius -5mm with the stock tire size. It gets worse with larger tires; e.g. 265/75/16 would move scrub radius -9mm.
Moving scrub radius to the negative is not good... Moving scrub radius to the positive is fine; within reason.

2005-2023 Tacomas use the same suspension geometry, brakes, and wheel specifications (excluding 5-lug trucks). Anything that would fit a 2005 will fit a 2023.

Thanks for the input, I have no idea what "scrub radius" is but will educate myself as I do have 265/75/16 tires.

When researching, you'll find 3 kinds of scrub radius; negative, positive and zero.
    c65328d9f8fa4de6f42b7d1ed536d0d5.jpg

The reason moving it to the negative is bad, is because it makes it approach zero scrub radius; or worse, moves it to the negative. At zero scrub radius, it can feel unstable at speed. Stationary and low speed wheel turns require more effort; as it's turning on the center of it's contact patch, instead of traveling through an arc.

Our trucks, as with all RWD vehicles, come with positive scrub radius.
FWD vehicles come with negative scrub radius.

Toyota uses +25 mm and +30 mm offset wheels on the Tacoma, depending on the wheel width.

The scrub radius of the 2005-2023 Tacoma 6-lug with +25 mm wheels is approximately +20 mm with stock sized tires. (Current stock offset for all models except TRD Sport with 7" wide wheels)
The scrub radius of the 2005-2023 Tacoma 6-lug with +30 mm wheels is approximately +15 mm with stock sized tires. (Current stock TRD Sport offset with 7.5" wide wheels)

Considerably more than I would have guessed.
    OP should be fine then.
On the other hand, people who add considerably more positive scrub...
Someone running 265s with -38 offset, would have about 6.5" of tread width outboard of SAI and 2" of tread width inboard.

Not that I doubt you; but, may I ask where these specs can be found?

I found this caculator it say the OE has zero scrub radius and the new wheels will have a negative scrub radius. says new scrub radius will be -5mm. I also read negative is better? Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I had 2nd gen wheels on my '16 no probs. I had a 16 SR with steels and found a set with blizzac's mounted from a 15. So I put the snows on the steel wheels and the original tires on those rims. Must have dumped the pic's

It is also more than I expected to be honest. As I said, the numbers are approximate, I found them by reverse engineering some Toyota engineering drawings.

The fact that Toyota uses both offsets being considered on the truck from the factory should put OP’s mind at ease at least, even if there is some error in my method (and there is some error in my method).

    I know you said it was subject to some error;
This is based on a 12 degree SAI, +0.5 camber and ride height spec from FSM(which I assume, accounts for deflection of the stock tire at proper psi)?
