    I think 24 will fit on a 23 but 23 will not fit on a 24.

Actually it’s the reverse. The center bore on the 2024 is smaller. It will not go on a previous gen Tacoma.

Are those Toyota OEM wheels or replicas?

You’ll need a hubcentric ring to fit on the 4th gen, also the offset is different, assuming your aftermarket wheels from your 3rd gen are 0 offset, they’ll stick out pretty far on the 4th gen. Some people don’t mind (Hawaii taco scene lol) but it’s waaay too much poke IMO. +12 is the best looking offset I’ve seen on the 4th gen so far

Dude, quit ruining threads with this crap. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. No need to keep spouting this nonsense, especially on a thread about wheels.

You will need hub centric rings and I still don’t understand how people mount older wheels with the lug nuts the way they are. 3rd gen are M12, 4th gen are M14. You would need to enlarge the holes in the wheels. Not sure how people are doing a clean job of that.

That's exactly why I posted a link to the thread on the other forum. It seems people were having a hard time finding the proper lug nuts. When the specs came out for the 4th gen, there was some discussion here about other aftermarket wheels, splines, and whether the lug sockets would even fit. I think the wheels the original poster has will work, but more research is likely needed on the best lug nuts.

Yeah, I’ve seen that thread before, still don’t know what lugs the dude used. He wasn’t able to provide the info that the dealer used from what I saw. I have a hard time believing there is an M14 lug nut that still fits the hole for the M12 3rd gen nut, but yet the wheels are bolted on in that thread, so what do I know.

Yea, he was pretty clueless. For all we know, the dealer jammed some 14mm splines in there.

Rave Off Road sells 14 Lug Nuts for 12mm Bore Hole Tacoma in which you would be able to use 4Runner Sema Pro Wheels

NO in some cases, here is my story, I sold my 2023 SR/SR5 Taco in Aug for a 2024, I had OEM 16inch Steel Rims with Blizzaks. Dealer told me they would fit on the new 2024. Just went to dealer to have them installed and NO they do NOT fit! Brakes are rubbing the rim dealer said, assuming they mean the caliper. :(

Anyone know of any OEM 16 inch Steelies that they have bought this year or is it only 17 inch?

    TY

2022-2024 Tundra /Sequoia wheels will fit the 2024 Tacoma. Anything else is, especially any prior Tacoma wheel, is a nope. It's a different sizing hub/rotor.

You need wheels that support the following specs:

    6x139.7, 95.1mm bore

The OEM limited wheels are 55mm offset, the TRD option wheel is 45mm offset, the Trailhunter wheel is 20mm offset (to provide some references)
