Will 1.25” wheel spacers cause me some rubbing issues?

I’ve got a 2018 TRD OR with the Pro Fox suspension currently rocking the T4R Trail edition wheels (17x7.5 +15) with 265/70/17 BFG AT KO2.

I want a little more poke/stance and was wondering if a 1.25” wheel spacer will work without having to chop or trim inside the wheel wells.

Picture for attention (before installing the Pro suspension):

No, I’m looking to widen my stance so the tires “poke” out from the wheel well a little bit.

20191229_213323.jpg 20191229_212239.jpg 20191229_212222.jpg I have 265/75r16 bfg k02 which I believe is the same diameter as your size (31.6"). I have 16x8 pro comp wheels that have a -12 offset. After I put the 1.25" spidertrax spacers on I rub bad turning in reverse. I need a cmc. I think you should be ok with those 4runner wheels. I also have a 2" lift. Before the spacers no rubbing.

I put some 1.25” spacers on. I rubbed pretty bad also. Going to look for some smaller spacers. Maybe 0.75”

I think the smallest spacers you can put on 3rd gens are 1” otherwise you will need to cut down the studs.

I rubbed on my mudflaps when I installed my 1.25" spacers. Also running a 265/75/16 but on stock OR wheels - your T4R wheels are more aggressive in terms of offset and width (slightly).. I think you may rub but just not sure where?

So is the consensus that 265/75’s will rub with 1.25” spacers on stock wheels and suspension??

I didn’t rub with stock OR wheels with 265/75’ and 1.25” spacers.

I still rub! I bought rekgen mudflaps because i thought they would be more high clearance but now my tires rubs on one of the bolt heads that secures the mud flap. Hoping some lift will help but I’m finding that such large spacers are kind of just asking for it

I just ordered .75" Bora spacers. The factory studs will protrude a little, but my aftermarket wheels has gaps for it. If not, 1" spacers should work okay.

265 is 10.43". Add another 1.25 and its about 11.75. Thats like running a 295 tire.

2021 Army Green Taco Trd Off Rd - BFG KO3's 265/75/16. Bilstein 5100's all around and 1" block in the rear. 2" lift in front and 1" in the rear
Is your taco on stock suspension too? I just got KO3's 265/75/16 tires and put them on my stock OR wheels. I love the look but I want the tires to poke out a little bit. My taco is still on its factory suspension. I'd like to add 1.25" wheels spacer too, but am worried about it rubbing on the fender or cab mount. Did you remove your mudflaps to avoid rubbing and did it work? Thanks.

Thank you. I was looking for this answer so badly. I just bought 265/17/16 BFG KO3 tires and put them on my stock OR wheels. I love how the KO3's look but now I want them to poke out more. I want to get 1.25" wheel spaces but was worried about the tires rubbing. Do you have mudflaps? I don't and am glad.
