I came across Titan video and just realized this truck exists lol..

Does anyone have one? and what you think is reason why lots of people don't buy it? I checked inventory and dealers have 1 or 2 barely, with 20-25K discounts sitting still

    Nissan Titan isn’t real.

    Nissan Titan can’t hurt you.

lmao, I didn't even know truck existed tbh.

Go out of business? isnt Nissan Altima like perfect rental/uber car? Besides Frontier isn't that bad. But yea I checked Titan videos and all the people who own it seem super weird

There were fine but the interior quality wasnt great, they had lower specs than most of the other trucks, and absolutely no "clout"

The diesels weren't great and they were discontinued.

When the titan came out with the 5.6 there were super charger kits and I got to drive a few, I thought they were powerful until I drove a tundra 5.7 supercharged.

The Toyota was superior in everyway. And typically if you want a truck, you either buy Big 3, or Tundra. Titan isnt in the convo.

I don't think they ever took off. They were competing with more desirable trucks at the time. I liked them, but never had any desire to own one.

I had one. Nice truck. Probably honestly the best truck I have ever owned. Sold it when gas went up to over $5 a gallon because I was commuting too much at the time. Just bought a new house 30 miles from where I used to live, had to drive my daughter senior year to school so she didn’t change schools. Plus about the same drive to work.

Dollar for Dollar it was probably the best value. Powerful V8, best sounding V8 truck on the market, best bumper to bumper warranty (5year, 100k). Pro4x package in my opinion is a good looking truck. Liked the interior at the time probably better than all the competitors minus maybe a loaded F150. Adjustable headlight were a pretty sweet feature. Never any issues with mine in the 2 years I owned it.

Yea they look somehow different, like no other truck. I didn't know they even existed but now seeing them massive discounts, I would have bought one instead of 2nd Taco maybe

A coworker bought one, said they gave him a deal that was too good to walk away from. I rode in it once and it left no impression good or bad.

I had a Datsun pickup back in the 80's. What a piece of crap. Brother's early Sentra was a tin shitbox. Apparently, quality was an alien concept to the company. Years later, friend's daughter's Rogue convinced me they had not improved.

I will not own a Nissan ever again.

I liked my 2011 first gen. Had it 10 years and a little over 100k miles. Only issues was a starter close to 100k, spiral cable replacement, blend door solenoid under warranty and cheap interior which is on par with my 3rd gen.

The V8 was under rated and sounded great but I averaged 12-13 mpg. I was a Nissan fan in the 90's but nothing in their line up today interests me.

The primary reason I didn't shop one when I was looking for a truck was that their website said it was $62k CAD MSRP to get one with heated seats, which was $10k more than the MSRP on equivalent competitor trucks and $20k more than I actually paid for my truck.

I work with a guy who is on his second and likes them a lot better than the F150 he had briefly.

My brother's last company used bare models for work trucks and he said the seats and driving experience were pretty bad.

Also, they stopped selling them in Canada a couple years ago.

I have a 10kw diesel generator. 3 clyinder Nissan engine. If I could drop that in a small pickup I'd be happy.

But the front end would be dragging on the ground. Things a beast.

I have a friend. A deputy sheriff who got a bloodhound and went through the training. Used the dog several times to find lost kids, bad guys etc. He was just using his patrol car to transport the dog but after he found an elderly lady with dementia who wandered off the family started a drive to raise money to buy a 4X4 truck for him and the dog. The local Nissan dealer sold a 2013 Titan to them at a loss. Only thing they could afford with the money they raised. That truck has over 300,000 miles on it and is still in service.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Rented one in S. FL and drove it to Ohio to pick up an old bike… it was fantastic on fuel, power, etc. zero concerns.

That's kind of how I ended up with my Tacoma. Same reaction to it for 9 years and counting. It gets me from A to B.

Wow! That looks to be about 60 sheets of drywall! About 3000 lbs!
A buddy had one, absolutely loved it. It got written off in an accident.

63 total! Plus some of those blocking scraps. It was a lot of weight. Never did the math. Wasn’t the best drive home but all things considered I don’t think it did too bad, haha. I loved mine too, still regret trading it in. It’s a lot of truck for the money IMO.

The Nissan Titan is generally a good (not perfect) truck in my opinion, but it can’t overcome the negative brand equity Nissan carriers because of the poor quality of its other vehicles.
