2" ome lift. I have also installed rear door 6.5 speakers used until 2008
So I've recently put the ome 2" front lift and 2.75" rear lift on my 2012 Toyota Tacoma access cab with the 4.0 manual transmission. And for some reason after getting brand new upper control arms lower control arms sway bar links and CV axles, aswell as inner outer tie rods my driver inner tie rods has broken twice in a week. I'll elaborate I threw The inner tie rod and outer tie rod on when I did the sway bar links right before I took truck to get a line. The alignment shop is only 5 miles away, within this time I had broken the inner tire rod on the driver side so 2 hours later get cost from shop they said oh for $200 will replace both your inner tie rods cuz they're broken. Only drivers side was broken when I got to there shop, so I drive truck back to house doing all right halfway there break the f****** inner tie rod on driver's side again oh boy was I ecstatic! I have recently lower the front sway bar bracket 1 in see if that changes anything but clearly at a loss. Tomorrow I'm driving by alignment shop since my $200 got me the lifetime warranty on inner tie rods, we'll see how that plays out. But I would love to hear from anybody who is had this problem and to find out what their solution was being bigger rims, ECGS bushings on CV or front differential lowering.. f*** at this point I just think I took it to the most white trash alignment shop in Tennessee sadly was only recommended by my father and brother so cannot express my enthusiasm with this shops performance. Love to hear thoughts. Thanks

What brand of tie rods? Odd that they'd break on the street, I've had them under tremendous amounts of stress on the trails and they've held up. Where is the failure of the tie rod, are you bending the rod or breaking the ball joint? Have any pics under the truck?

So these are the inner tire rods from A1 Auto I don't know the make of the ones they currently place on truck but I thought it was a CV popping but it's obviously the ball joint inside the inner tie rod that's piping

Judging by that video I'm going to guess you got the guy that made the tie rods on a Friday. Get a quality joint from Raybestos or Moog, I've never had good luck with A1 auto in the past and it seems like old habits die hard based on your experience.

    Never heard of A1 Auto

I hear prerunner and 4x4 is different lengths
Not sure if accidentally installing the wrong one or unknowingly could cause this

I believe the company is 1A Auto, the "autozone" of eBay.

I mean for what it's worth
Autozone parts usually have a long or lifetime warranty
They also are not known for quality. Reputations are earned.
Say the word Brembo? People go "Oh fuck that's that long-established Italian company whose brake calipers come on Porsches and Ferraris"
Say Autozone? People should think of a cheap brake pad made of compressed cheerios that falls apart before it even actually wears down

translation: the cheap shit is gonna break in a year. Oh you make $30/hr? Congratulations, you'll be wasting another whole Saturday installing a warranty part, 8hr of your time x $30 = $240, that they will not compensate, IF you can even DIY

but they will warranty the shit $40 part
just for it to break again next year (or sooner) almost like on a schedule. Like clockwork.

Bingo. Alot of owners get duped by their low prices and the lifetime warranty which means returning customers for warranty replacement of failed parts. While you are there, you buy oil, discounted hand sanitizer, bag of chips, and a monster as a pre-labor meal for the wasted saturday afternoon. To be honest, it's a great business plan.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
Wararanty is for part, not labor.

With parts of this nature labor is where the $ is made. Especially at shops as you described.
