Love the power rear window in a Tundra. Reminds me of the old station wagons, where the whole window went down with the switch, not just a little centre window like the Taco.

Sounds like a mod waiting to happen...

    Cost saving, most likely.

Cabin room most likely. Only the CrewMax get's this feature and it's awesome!

They're great if you want all the leaves/dirt/pollen/etc from your bed immediately in your cab.

I have a 2016 and would be happy with the power sliding center window. LOL.

I like having only a small window. I hardly use it as is, but if it opened like that, I would never use it.

If you had the big one you would use it. Open the sunroof and the back window and it's like having a convertible.

I live in the desert with alot of dust. I definitely would not use it, but to each their own.

EDIT: Probably would be nice with the additional sunroof, but that's one addition I do not have.

Haha, thankfully it's not like that at least. I mean, if I wanted the window down that bad. I would just remove all the windows and wear a helmet.

About all the sliding rear window is good for is clearing out the air quick when someone farts in the back seat

and get one of those blower systems.

I've gotten a little dusty out by Wendover coming back from supporting an offroad race.

Agreed. Fortunately I don’t usually drive everyone to lunch so I avoid such issues

Loved the rear window on my old Tundra. Agreed, the Taco should also have the pleasure of gracing such beauty.
