Who said hood scoops are useless?

Now its useless and yellow.

*really though, I wish I had a fake scoop on my truck, they just look better.

 

What does it look like with the light off? I've been thinking about installing one for a minute.

Also, I think we have the same light setup going on (except the morimotos)

My truck is inferno, so I have a better chance of finding a leprechaun than finding a inferno scooped hood.

I could buy a new hood and have it painted, but I fear the match just wont be very good.

 

Begs the question of exactly what the light's pointed at and how much of the hood it's catching.

 

You can barely tell it's in there. I like it.

 

thats what I'm concerned about. it also requires drilling and I'm somehow $8k into mods with no irreversible damage

 

I'll post pics once it gets dark . Had a cheap $18 Amazon light before and this is how it looked. Hood scoop light bar only.

 

Scoop is a 2 piece part. You only drill the bottom part and if for some reason it gets messed up you can buy it at your local dealer for around $75

 

Hood Scoop is NOT useless…. it drops panties a lil bit quicker!

Yep, still useless. Adding lights just makes them useless and stupid looking.

 

I like it. I'm not a fan of the Ford lights, but I like the scoop light!
