Diode Dynamics has some LED fogs that will melt snow from what I've read. If those are of interest Hotshot Offroad and member @memario1214 are your ticket.

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
If you're absolutely set on LED's then in the mentioned thread, crashnburn80 found the $70 Hikari UltraFocus LED's from Amazon are just a hair behind the ones costing 3x as much.

The Morimoto 2 stroke 3.0's are supposed to help heat up the housing the way they direct airflow.

    Had them and immediately returned.

Looked cheap and felt cheap out of the box.

Bit the bullet and went with Morimoto’s instead.

So you actually got them then retuned them? Yeah no real honest reviews online. Very hard to say. I actually just placed an order on them with Black Friday day seeing that if I didn’t like them I was gonna return them.

Update: I ended up pulling the trigger on theses headlights on a sale they had for black Friday. I will have to say so far, I am impressed with headlights. After some adjusting on the left side I have good even light output. I would say they are about even or slighter better than my LED hallogen stocks that had upgraded LED bulbs. So far Im happy with them, I will follow up after 6 months to make sure they are still good.

    Nice, post pics.

I believe another member posted something on them as well.

Anyone know if these are equivalent to the DEPO Led’s being sold?

Not exactly a glowing review if they are the same or close to LED bulbs in halogen housings.

Was thinking this also. My Morimoto XB 2.0's are about 250-300% brighter than the 2 Stroke 3.0 bulbs were in the factory halogen housings (and those bulbs slay for a pnp upgrade in most other housings).

That's quite obvious don't you think? How am I going to expect alpharex or morimotto higher end headlights light output for less than half the price as GTR?? lol I don't need to blind incoming traffic. I was 100% happy with the light output of my LED hallogens. What I wanted was LED horseshoe and more aesthetic than stock chrome hallogens and these GTR carbides definitely hit the spot on OEM look and light output.

Again, if you are looking for way brighter lights look elsewhere as these lights never advertised that you will get 200% light output(unless its stock factory hallogens yellow lights, mine had LED bulbs), if you want normal light output for everyday driving GTR carbides do great. I will post pictures later.

Well see I wasn't exactly being facetious.

If you take a look at a primarily data-driven thread like this one: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/3rd-gen-hid-vs-led-vs-halogen-h11-projector-headlights.589465/

Then you'll note that measurements of LED lights in stock housings really don't measure up at distance, which for most drivers is genuinely pretty important.

It's not really about "brightness" per say, but more about spread.

So anyway...yeah if they're "just as good" as LED's in stock housings, that would genuinely mean that they're not a good pick.
