What are you looking at in this photo? The rough texture or the yellow? Because my mag grey is a rough texture at the bottom like that too.

    Thank you for the update
it turned yellow in the first few months as well, since my truck is a lease I just hope they would charge me an arm and a leg when I return it, they said I didn’t buy the paint protection so it’s not covered I just don’t get why I have to be responsible for a faulty paint job

clay will most definitely take off rail dust.

I would NOT use acetone or any other harsh chemical on Toyota Super White paint as it is NOT CLEAR COATED. it is a single stage paint with an enhancer mixed into the paint and all shot at one time. it is not clear coat. you used to be an "auto recondition tech", so you should know not to do this. anybody with any detailing experience will tell you the same thing. if it "works" for you, great. but it might not work for the customer who's paint you happen to be ruining.

all that is is a synthetic type of clay. I admit, I use those too. but there are some things a good finishing clay will do better than those.

This is the part where I used degreaser, clay bar and wax, it’s not as obvious but it’s still there

I purchased a white 2020 Tacoma a year ago. It has the yellow staining along the bottom. I took it to the dealer and was told to have it detailed because iI wasn't keeping it clean enough. They have a detailing package. They did replace the mylar chip guards ahead of the rear wheel but not behind the rear wheel. It is still yellow and the dealer is done as far as they are concerned and gave me the number for the factory Rep.
