    Hey y’all
2015 trd off-road. Got a switch panel to keep my lights clean and all. Which fuse would you use to power the led’s in the panel itself. Trying to tap into the fuse box in the engine bay. Looking for one with power all time key is in. Thanks

Here is the ign key circuit. Pick one of the circuits from the IG1, IG2 or ACC Branches. They are only powered while the key is turned to on.

I wouldn't use the Ignition circuit, but a good candidate would be the Wiper ( WIP ).

Thanks for the help, but i've no idea how to make sense of this schematic. I'm trying to compare with the listed assigned components to fuses but no luck. Sorry pretty green with any wiring stuff.

I'll add, I picked a few fuses last night that i thought wouldn't get power until key was on. Every one I pulled the lights would stay on even with key out. Ended up running the ACC wire under the FOG fuse and the panel stayed switched on all night. luckily it doesn't pull much power, but i thought for sure i'd find one that didn't give it power without the key.

I'm doing more research bc something dosesn't make sense to me. Other idea is to splice into the running lights and use the switch in the cab to turn on/off.

I sure wish more people would buy and learn to use a multimeter - or even a test light. It's so easy to use.

You need to buy a cheap test light but if you don't have the basic understanding of the schematic diagram posted above, you should keep searching the forum or pay a shop for the install. Inadvertently shorting a circuit on the tacoma would be a nightmare to diagnose and repair.
