Whats with greaseable shackles being $200 bucks?? This is the one they said I needed for stock springs: Thanks for the heads up on loosening them while greasing.

See link below for the ones that were included in my kit. The ones I got were gs12 (no lift). I had no idea they were that expensive even at $120.

I went over those with Cory over at Wheelers and the description says:
    • For use with OME CS046R Dakar leaf springs
**NOTE: Requires Old Man Emu Leaf Spring Bushing Set (SB88) or Wheeler's Leaf Spring Bushing Set available separately

But my springs are from General Spring and have bushings that need to be popped out and the link I provided has bushings in it. The one you link is for Dakars , is that what you have?

Yes, sorry they were for Dakar leaf set. Sucks the general ones are $200. I bought from Wheelers due to their set came with the shackles. Cory and the crew are an awesome resource. Also wanted to mention that if this all doesn't work out, I saved my 881s and are just sitting in my shed. You can have them if u want. My wife wants me to chuck them in the trash.

Ive used the Hankook Dynapro AT and currently have Falken Wildpeak ATs, both are great but the Falkens are narrower and spin up faster, zero road noise.

So did I, but i have a regular cab 2.7 which is significantly lighter and I only seemed to get an inch or so. Rides good though. I wonder if you’re on a different clip than the lowest?

No Im on the lowest. The previous owner never changed the shocks or coils so I’m thinking it was just time. I can drive through crappy roads and I’m not jumping all around anymore lol

Im having trouble sourcing the stock BFG K02 in my area. However the larger 265/75/16 version is in stock. What do you think about the problems this would have as far as rubbing despite the lift? MPG? Power? Worth it? Any pluses here?

I had the 265/75/16 version. There was rubbing at stock height at full lock (did not effect performance), no rubbing at all with 881s/Dakar (no AAL), minor but noticeable power loss (no need to regear), negligible MPG changes, and worth it? Yes. The 2.7 can handle these E rated tires but effected the performance enough that I knew regearing was a must with 33s.

Oh thats great to hear! I was running 245/70/16 so I think I will notice some power loss. Great deal at Costco $876.03 after $110 special and 2% cash back on their credit card we use. I think it will be worth it! I hear mostly good things about this tire.

Did you get new shocks all around?
Did you compress the taller 882s to fit your current shocks?
Did you add the extra leaf and kept your existing rear shocks?
