Photo of my saggy leaf spring. Can't afford to replace the whole pack, looking for add a leaf recommendations. I have a topper and aftermarket rear bumper which add quite a bit of weight in the rear

Try to find set of take off 3rd gen springs (even complete front/rear take offs). May be cheaper than AAL option.

I have same problem, I found a set of take offs for $300 bucks.

Replace the whole leaf pack and be done with it. Just figure how much weight you want to support.

Screenshot_20221225-123405.jpg I found a pair of 3rd gen trd pro leaf springs for $100. Pulled at 60k. Will they fit? And will they be an improvement?

Just an add-a-leaf is going to buy you a few months before it looks like that again. You look quite overloaded and an add-a-leaf isn't going to last too long.

Like others recommended - find free/cheap leaf springs someone took off of a 3rd gen and install those with a ~$60 single add-a-leaf OR if you can afford it, do the Icon 3-leaf add a leaf.
    https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p95/Icon_1.5_Inch_Progressive_Add-a-leaf_-_51100_(PAIR).html

OR another option if your load varies - a set of airbags.
    https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/s...Bags_for_2005-2021_Tacoma_-_2407_or_2410.html

The real solution is a full new set of leaf springs meant for the weight you carry.

They are better than what you have, but no telling how long they will last before looking like your current set with your extra weight. See my post right above this.

Also, no matter what, you'll want new u-bolts. It is not recommended to reuse them.

Get the part numbers off these just to double check. I believe most (if not all) 3rd will fit 2nd.

So many I forgot and had to make a list, but lost the list
One item that has not been mentioned and made a lot of difference in my last tow job was to keep the trailer level. With a lift kit in place a stepdown hitch may be needed. Also check as you load to keep it level. If the trailer is front heavy your steering will be affected. If your load is tail heavy, the trailer will be wagging the dog. Also check to see if your mirrors are adequate. The Tacoma mirrors are good for day time travel, but the one time I pulled at night it caused some concern. Stay safe.

That is a steal. I would buy it now if I had the money. Yes they will fit. They will also handle better than 2nd gen recall leafs and will give about a 3/4 inch lift.

But they have 60k on them so they already have the best years behind them.

Some members cant give away their old leaf springs for free.

I just put a set of Hellwig spring helpers on mine to tow my boat with. Works great for me.

I mean you could do what I did and find yourself a used set of RXT's for around $300 and slap them on in one go
Common truck. Common mod. Doesn't take much looking to find a truck with them in a junkyard either.

or for similar amount of money you can spend more time fucking around with things like AAL which will not work as well given your shell
such as 1.5 single AAL, or Icon progressive AAL

Yeah. If you have AAL added, it will still take time to find someone to even give them away to, or sell for dirt cheap.
But bone stock, that's going to be a challenge to throw away.
