I wanted to see where I could get a new bolt for the steering knuckle where it connects with the lower ball joint. Can anyone please help I’ve looked all over and couldn’t find anything!

The Toyota dealer. This is not someplace you want to use a Home Depot bolt.

Did you walk into your local dealer and say, “Gimme that bolt”? If you’re shopping online, it’s not worth paying shipping on 1 bolt.

Cripes.....Just got to the dealer. Visit the guys at the part counter. Tell them what you need. They will narrow down to the parts fiche with the exploded part view. Most times, the part guy will invite you to view the exploded part view with him. Then you can confirm the part. It can be helpful if you can take the old part with you.

The parts counter is usually a very busy place. The workers won't spend much time on the phone to chase down a $5 part when they have a shop full of mechanics needing parts. Face to face works best when getting the odd part.

BTW, never replace 1 bolt that is in a bolt pattern. In this case, replace both bolts.

My dealer is about 15 miles from me. I have been face to face with the part counter folks several times looking for the odd part. If the part isnt in stock they are happy to order it. The part arrives the next morning. They call to inform me the part has arrived, I go get the part. Yeah, its a 60 mile run, but I know the part is correct. There was one time when the warehouse shipped the wrong PCV, the order had the correct P/N. It was an simple exchange for the proper part.

For future travelers: Those bolts cab be found in the Suspension Lower Right Hand Arm Sub-Assembly with Bushing (#48068-04040) package, which at this time can be ordered for about $350+.

However, I was able to learn from my local dealer that these two bolts specifically should be Flange Bolt (#90105-A0010) which as you may notice, is not mentioned anywhere on those diagrams. But if you look up a 90105-A0010 then it gives you the same diagram.
Currently, these run about $5-$10 each.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
A year and a half late, but great information to share for future users.

Welcome to the forum. Solid contribution as well. That wasn’t meant to be sarcastic.

Hah! Thanks. I was one such traveler who needed that part and this was literally the only helpful place on the web to find this information (as is often the case with this wonderful forum). I've skulking here for years and figured it was time to contribute! :oldglory:

I'm sounding like a broken record here lately but partsouq.com is your friend. The best diagrams on the net. 90105-A0010 is indeed the part number for the LBJ flange bolts, $4.48 each from BAM.
