would after-market wheels void my warranty? (its a new truck I've only had it for like 4 months (6k miles)). and i have seen the other 4 runner wheels just liked the 2021+ version cause it looked better lol. Also do you think i can run 275/70 in stock suspension and what not? Thanks for the help btw!!

I don't see how it would void your warranty. Dealer has to prove a specific aftermarket part caused a specific failure to void specific warranty work.

The recommended size on stock suspension with a 17" wheel is 265/70/17 or 265/65/17 with no more than zero offset. Negative offset opens a can of worms for trimming and rubbing.

Two last questions. would you say between the FSW wheels and the toyota Factory wheels one is better than the other one? and what offset gives you a wider stance without rubbing? and finally would spacers allow me to fit the 275/70?

Negative offset makes your wheels stick out more past the fender line. Stock sport wheels are +33 offset I believe.

AGP Wheels make a good replica too. They're compatible with OEM Lug Nuts (Mag Style) and the center cap is interchangeable with OEM center cap. Good price too.

I'd say they're comparable quality. OEM probably has better resale value. It comes down to whether you prefer a 17x7 with 4mm offset or 17x8.5 with zero offset. More noticeably, do you prefer a 8.5" wide wheel or 7" wide wheel? Pick a color and wheel design you prefer.

Wheel spacers will push the wheels out farther essentially the same thing as using a negative offset wheel. Negative offset pushes wheels out = wider stance, whereas positive offset sucks them in.

OEM TRD offroad wheels are +25mm offset, but I'm not sure about sport wheel offset. By going with the 17x7 +4 OEM Sema wheels or 17x8.5 zero offset FSW wheels you're moving the wheels out almost an inch and nearly flush with the outside fender.

The 8.5" wheel will make the tires appear a bit wider than the 17x7 if that's what you're wanting.

I don't think it's possible to go with a 275/70 on stock suspension without rubbing. The video above explains it better than I can. Basically, if you only push wheels out with a zero offset, negative offset, or wheel spacers and try to stuff an oversized tire you'll still experience rubbing. This is because the fender arch is shaped differently/turning radius changes depending on the position of the tire.

A 265/70/17 on a 17x7 or 17x8.5 wheel fills out these trucks quite well on stock suspension. Take a look at some of the pictures in the FSW wheel thread I linked and you'll see.

There's several pictures of the 17x7 Sema wheels too...

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/17-trd-pro-sema-wheels.366951/

I don't think you can go wrong with either wheel. I see a lot more OEM Sema wheels on Tacoma's than I do FSW wheels. Do a few searches on google and the forum for pictures of your same color truck and wheel styles/tire sizes you like. That will give you a better visual on what to expect.

    just cause...

I have the older pro wheels and 265/70/17 tires an a 2" lift and they are just as big as you can get without rubbing when you turn. I would imagine they are the same as the new ones setback and offset, but it seems the center isn't right for the hubs?
I actually prefer the look of the older ones( not just cause I have hem).

I will be unloading a set of OEM sema pro wheels that is coming off my 2019 Tacoma sport in about 1 month if anyone is interested.
Once the wheels come Off I will have them clean by my detail guy and I will post pictures of the wheels.
I will include black lug nuts with wheel locks and an extra center cap. NO TPMS

My son has 17x8.5, 0mm offset TRD pro replica wheels and he hit some black ice and damaged one. Now I can't seem to find that size anywhere. He has an Icon stage 4 set up, with the upper control arms - so according to them they recommend an 8.5 wheel with 4.75 inch back spacing to run 33" tires. He has KO2 285/70R217s on those wheels now with no rubbing after some plastic trimming.

If I cannot get a matching replacement wheel would a 17x8 with 5mm offset wheels work? they should have about the same backspacing. I assume it would just pull the tires in a bit from where they are but not too much and he could run the same tires?

Any pictures of the wheel? Sounds like maybe FSW Wheels.

    Here are some pics

They do look like them but I noticed the FSW Wheels have little dimples around the outside that his don't seem to have. FSW is out of stock everywhere and is saying more will ship in early Feb.

Pretty sure those aren't FSW. Any chance a tire shop could peel the tire off and check for some identifying casting marks? eBay might have something. A google search for "trd pro replica wheels 17x8.5 sema" shows these. They're both 17x8 +5 offset as you previously mentioned though.

He's in Upstate NY with the Truck and I'm in NV. Will try the shop here where we got the wheels. If they can't get them I may just have to buy a new set in 17x8.

There's a few posts floating around with them. Seems like a quality product. Some oem center caps fit them too.

Safe to assume the TRD Pro wheels being discussed here will accommodate the OEM 265/65/17 tires with zero rubbing and clearance issues? Clearly the tires will be the exact same size on the new TRD 17x7 wheel but the change in offset is really my concern.

Will likely purchase from BAM. Assume they sell the OEM matching black lug nuts? What about swapping over the factory TPMS sensors? Mine seem to have rubber valve stems.
