No the dealer sells different types of tires, they can likely get what you want or install tires you bring in.

Those are the correct part number for the older style. I used BAM as a price point when asking the dealer for my wheels, They matched their price, and no shipping. It may be less expensive to purchase the wheels and have discount tire install tires(which is what I did). But it never hurts to ask the dealer to do that if you have not purchased yet. More info equals more knowledge and wisdom.

Nice truck. How does shipping work by using discount tires to install the tires? I assume you ship the wheels to them?

I agree with @banjoGrampa about talking to the dealer and see what they can do. When I got mine a few years ago my dealer matched the price from an online purchase and I saved the shipping cost. I went with the old style T4R Pro wheels.

I got mine from the dealer through their website. Some dealers offer a larger discount online than in store.

So 4Runner wheels (and TPMS sensors) are interchangeable with Taco wheels?

Where are you located? If you are in Cali, TRD Pro wheels are all over the place. Check Vilmont market on instagram. There are at least 2 sets posted every day I bet. I have a 2019 with the glossy wheels and I recently bought an offroad camping trailer. I just bought a used set for my trailer so i only have to carry one full sized spare. Got them in brand new shape minus the TPS sensor for $800. Check offer up too.

Yes. I got new sensors when I did my wheels but from what I remember as long as the OEM wheels that you take the sensors out of are alloys they will work.1D72DBF9-49F9-41AF-B822-67B5C2D7CC16_1_201_a.jpg

I hadn’t even considered the sensors until I read this. So will the sensors that come with the OEM TRD Sport and OR wheels be compatible with the wheels I’m about to buy, or do I also need to buy different sensors? Is there anything else I’m not thinking about before I pull the trigger?

Where are you purchasing from? I got mine used and they didn't have the TPMS, but since I'm using them on the trailer of for a spare its not a big deal.

I’m not sure yet, still trying to figure it all out. I’m buying a new Tacoma in about a month, so I will have the OEM wheels, tires, sensors, etc. I just don’t know what the easiest way is to change out the wheels and tires.

I bought the wheels from the dealer and drove straight to Discount to have them installed. They also installed sensors.
I recouped some cash by selling the stock wheels with the old tires. Something else to consider.
