Has anybody successfully purchased the AFE Pro-Dry S filter, 21-90044? This is the conical filter that will drop in and replace the oiled one in a TRD intake. I'm also looking for the prefilter, 28-10091.

I tried purchasing through AutoPartsDealer on Amazon and after waiting 2 weeks I find that they are not available through them anymore. The same dealer is selling them on eBay. Summit Racing does not stock them but their tentative ship date is 4/22. AutoAnything doesn't stock them.

I could purchase direct from AFE but the prices and especially the shipping, were ridiculous.

Right on Toucan! :D Thanks for the link! I've sent them an email since I don't see the pre-filter on their site but its definitely pictured with the filter. If I can get these two from them I'll be set!

shitty cell pic, but it's the yellow wrap that goes around the cone filter.

it helps in really dusty terrain to filter out crap from the air before it hits the air filter itself
