Where is the low pressure switch for the ac on a 2003 3.4??

Trying to find the low pressure switch maybe I'm just blind anyone know where it is?

 

What is a low pressure switch? The knob to turn it off full blast?

 

I think its inside the evap box. Let me check.

 

I think someone said its under the dash right by where the tubing goes into the a/c box

 

There's only a high pressure switch. Its in the evap. case behind glove box.

 

yea, a/c comes on when you turn it on.(your hand is switch) High Press. sw. cuts out compressor when it builds up.

 

There should be one to protect the compressor if the pressure gets to low??

 

Toyota used a dual pressure switch. It will shut of the AC if the freon pressure is too high or too low. On earlier Tacomas the pressure switch connector was on the outside of the evaporator core behind the glove box, but the switch is inside the evaporator core plastic housing. I guess it's probably the same set up on later 1st gens.

 

the switch is in the liquid line (high pressure line) inside the evap box. The connector is outside the box yes.
