Any place in Southern California that sprays fluid film on Tacoma or something to prevent rust on the frame?? Thanks!!

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I doubt it in socal, you won't rust there anyway. Takes consistent exposure over time. A few trips to the beach every year or being parked by the ocean ain't gonna do anything

How are you getting rust in California? Do you drive on the surf or something.

Wouldn't matter that much unless you drive on brine covered everyday for 4 months.

Close to the coast salt builds up on the house roof and washes off when it rains, leaving minor white salt lines in the driveway if it is a light rain or heavy morning dew. I back the cars down the driveway a couple of feet when this happens to get out from under the driveway eaves to minimize salt-induced rust. Just how far do socal'ers have to drive to find a turnkey fluidfilm shop?

You can get cans of it on Amazon and hit the key areas. We do not have the major issues like the rust belt, but if you insist you can get some of the delicate bits yourself.

SoCal? You can leave bare metal out and just get surface rust. Ask me how I know. You don’t need to worry about rust, you live in a desert.

The ocean 100 feet from where I'm pooping right now would like to disagree with several of your statements.

lol, I’ve lived in PB for years. And???? I’ve never had an issue.

and you are not the OP. You worried about some salt water air destroying your truck like the salty roads of the east coast??? You are 100% correct. Salt water will jack up bare metal....right on the beach....and we are talking about a good amount of time. You still don’t have the same issue as a lot of the East coasters do

we are lucky here. Beach or not, you live in a desert

    how’s da poop?
