Anyone know how or where to install the wiring harness for the tow kit? I have not been able to find any sort of plug or anything.

If the wiring harness was purchased thru the dealer, the wires run under the cab to a point under the driver seat. They go from there into the cab via a small grommet (which is replaced with the factory wire harness grommet), once in the cab, the wiring runs under the door trim to the drivers kick panel and up to the main wireing bundle, into which the new harness plugs into. New fuses are installed into the fuse box under the hood, and your done. :)

If it was bought at Advance Auto or auto zone or some other retail store it might plug in like this...

The last wiring kit i bought was for my 2000 taco and i had to take the tail lights off and it just plugged in to the original factory plugs behing the lights...then i had to route it down and tie wrap it up...easiest kit i ever put in...think i paid like 20 bucks for it from advance auto...might have even been a wal mart brand, but it never let me down...

the length of the runs(driver's side, pass, and trailer) puts the box in the center.
I zipped it to an existing wire harness. I also double zipped the trailer wires to the hitch itself to keep everything else from getting yanked.

    I'll take a pic tomorrow.

The Valley hitch and the hoppy adapter were both SUPER easy to install !!

    thx.

The kit I bought from the dealer for my 2003 & my 2005 plugs into the tail lights, then the wiring from the truck to the tail lights plugs into the harness. Took me about 10 minutes to install. Tie wrap excess wires under the truck to the body.
