Where can I find the rubber plugs that insert into the 2 holes towards the front of the bed. Went camping a few weeks ago and woke up to find pack rats found their way up the axle and into the holes to have a buffet on some of our food. Little f#%#ers.

Which holes? There are drain holes in the bed toward the cab but I dont know of any rats that can get through them...

Right. The drain holes located towards the front of the bed. There are 2 of them about the radius size of a soda can. They're plenty big for pack rats to get through.

Wow they are THAT big?? (Wonder why...) Have you tried a regular hardware store? Surely they have all sorts of rubber plugs of various sizes and shapes?

Push clips the width size of a soda can?

I'd really love to see pics. I'm curious now. Mine are little holes, probably the size of a pencil. But then again I'm 2nd gen.

We are AWARE, Oz. But thanks for pointing that out. ;) Which is why I pointed out I was curious since I have a 2nd gen with three pencil sized holes near the cab. Just trying to learn here. :)

Maybe you can use the plastic plugs from a mailing tube. There are many sizes. Look at Staples or someplace that sells mailing/shipping supplies.

Most hardware stores have rubber plugs of various sizes for round holes. As the other have stated, no clue which holes you are talking about. My bed has only 2 small drainslits that a rodent could never pass through.

    Post pics.

Here it is. One on each side. They don't look like a mod...looks factory to me. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions.

If you're worried about rats getting through them, fab up something more durable. Take like some 1/8" (or less) plate- cut two circles per drain hole, drill a hole in the center of each one, and run a bolt all the way through them. Then just sandwich the bed between two of the plates. Rat proof. You could get fancy and tack weld the bolt to one side so they are easier to remove to actually drain water.
