You'll need to find one in a junkyard and cut it off, or have one fabricated from scratch (Big $$!).

Search for "roof panel" not just roof and you'll see that Toyota used to sell the panel for it, but it looks like most dealers list it as "not for sale" nowadays. Might get lucky and find a dealer that still has one in stock

btw I'm not sure if this one is for the early 1st gen Tacomas or later models, you'll have to verify the part number.

    Welcome to the forum!!

    Please post pictures!!:worthless:

It all depends just how fussy you are and how hard core your off roading gets . Lots of hard jarring impacts.

I would just go with fiber glass mat and resin sand and paint. Cheapest option!!

Installing a new roof can get expensive and many times causes the windshield to break being removed.

It all depends on who does the work replacing the whole cab might be easier and less labor intensive.

Thanks for the ideas! I know a guy who does those fiberglass roofs. Just worried because my off rd habits are fairly hard core lol. Mostly on the beach only, but I am in the mountains sometimes too. I've heard they can crack easily. Heard about these aftermarket roofs u can get, but still can't find any. My windshield already needs replacing when the roof gets done, after yet another work truck sent a huge rock right at me.

The thing with Fiberglass if it cracks easy to repair.
