So I'm interested in purchasing a brushguard minus the headlight protectors for my 2013 Trd-offroad dblsb. I've seen them on two trucks on this site and I'm curious as to where to find them. They are a bit elusive. Just to explain, im looking for what is commonly seen on sheriff suv's.

I can't speak for all of them, but the one I installed on my Mom's old 1998 Pathfinder was in multiple pieces, so it would have been possible to just do the center portion. The headlight guards and top bar bolted on after the center piece was in place.

It looked great (really made the truck IMHO), but being that it was a cheap one from eBay it was on the flimsy side of things. I wouldn't have trusted it bumping anything as there was far too much flex in the center (including nothing for the center piece to brace against).

Worst case you could always cut or have a shop cut the headlight sections off and grind them down if you find a unit that is one piece.

Go Rhino and Setina are the two major manufacturers of the push bumpers used on cruisers. Check their sites. I doubt either has a Tacoma specific bumper but they certainly have "generic fit" that you could built brackets for.

This was my Setina on my '14 Explorer. "Was" because I pretzeled it.... :(

The reason the Warn unit is higher priced is because it is built to handle the load from a winch. Most of the common aftermarket grille guards are not "structural" and are really just glorified light holders. As someone already posted, GoRhino has center only units, but they only go up to 2011, P/N 3819B.
