I have been surrounded by people who have told me I need indoor plants in my life. One of those people is my wife.

I have gone online to check and holy jeez these online retailers are super expensive.

I am looking for indoor plants for my office, my bedroom, my home office and my living room. My bedroom and my home office have almost no-light. My office and my living room have alot of light.

    1) what plants are recommended?
    2) I am told i should go by Feng Shui for plant selection?
    3) Where can i buy them without putting my kidney as collateral.

Almost any landscaping center / nursery can point you in right direction

Sweet potato vines, philodendron, dumb cane and ficus are pretty simple.

Google something like basic house plants.

If you travel a bit keep it simple unless you have someone to tend them

Forget the Feng Shui stuff and pick what you like.

You can try big box stores like Lowe’s or Home Depot they usually have a selection. I would suggest as a new plant owner you find a local green house. They can help you with plant selection to go with the environment and lighting you’ll have them in. Another great resource is Yourube. Search plant care for beginners and you’ll be surprised how many videos there are.
Some easy recommendations are ZZ plants, Pothos, and snake plants they’re low maintenance and attractive. Inside of my house looks like a high end plant shop my wife has 3-400 of them. They’re fun but as in anything takes a little effort some more than others. Biggest mistake people make is over watering it’s just as bad as underwatering. Good luck and have fun
