Looking to get rid of OEM Toyota Alloy wheels with some Stealth Custom Series Gen5s or F5s but im unsure whether to go with -10 offset or -38. I definitely want the tires to poke out more because I already have a set of 275/75/r17 and spidertraxx 0.25” wheel spacers but I’m still unhappy with the poke.

Unless you’re running 35’s or bigger , a -38 will look goofy and rub like crazy

Sacrificing good handling and stock proper steering geometry for “poke”, a marvel.

With 33s and maryland roads I’m already getting yanked from one side of the road to the other and it’s simply for looks so what does it matter it’s not like it’ll be any worse on a trail than any other Taco just bc the tires poke out a bit

A related question: On some wheels the offset is embossed on the reverse side of the wheel but with no value (plus or minus) in front of the number. Are we to assume it's a negative offset?

Here is 0 offset for your reference. -10 would be your safest bet in my opinion.

My question is about labeling. I've seen numerous pics here with embossed dimensions of wheels along with offset but often times the offset number does not have either a negative or positive value in front of the digits. Example: the last two digits is 10 meaning 10 mm offset but there is no M or P; + or - in front of 10.

My wheels and tire are 17x9 -6 offset and 285/70/17’s. I think a -10 to -12 is perfect.

Rino 16 with -10 offset. Stock no lift. Tires are 265/70/16. About a inch and a half poke.
