I bought two front wheel bearing assemblies from @BamaToy1997 aka marionbumper2bumper.com. Been a few years and they are still going strong.

Good to know. He is tough to get hold of and I bought from him 2 years ago....but he is 30 miles from me and messaged me that he had one in stock. So I ordered from him. I have my fingers crossed

Just met him at the Rt 70/72 Wawa to pick up my hub, we split the 40 miles between us. Kevin is a nice guy and this is my 2nd hub purchased. I am replacing DS this time. He has several built and just finished them when he texted me to meet up.

Unfortunately that is an old thread. From what I read in other forums, Timken was good but have had issues now due to outsourcing parts from China. So it's a hit or miss with them. From what I understand, NSK is the supplier for Honda. I've had several Honda's over the years and I've never replaced a bearing in a Honda.

If you go to Rock auto and click on a Timken rear wheel bearing and look at the picture it says KOYO on the bearing so you may have your work cut out for ya if you prefer one brand over the other.

I have DuraGo 295596058 (hub-bearing-assembly-nut) on my truck. Only have 20K on them; so, can't judge their durability yet. I do offroad so I don't expect them to last 50K. They are my third set of bearings and 2nd set of hubs. I have the kit on my save-for-later cart on Amazon. I've seen the price range from $25 to $70. When they were at 25 bucks, I got two kits.

That’s some crazy good prices. I’m all for just replacing the whole hub when needed. Doing just the bearings is too much of a hassle

This is anecdotal, but I have a Timken in my driver's side that's lasted maybe 40k miles and is going out already. Was planning to replace with the NSK assembly offered by the link in post #2.

    Edit: I'm driving a completely stock 2008 V6 DCSB 4x4.

maybe the brand of bearing makes a difference for those who run spacers? My timken koyo PS bearing has over 60,000 miles. The OE bearing barely made it past 80,000 and I drove with it almost another 10,000 before replacing

Toyota blamed it on Lifted, and big tires on off set rims bla bla bla. My oe lasted 100k then I did a timken and thats gone after 50k. my oe on passenger side still going strong after 170k but replacing it any way for peace of mind, also Doing new orange hd inner cv boots from cvj axles on both sides ( just ripped). at least everything broke in unison so I only have to take it all a part once. And my local napa had all 6 seals yah!
