I dont think ive seen Damachi. I use smaller Sabiki all the time for Cigar minnows and other bait.

For Largemouth the old red/white jitterbug

For trout it has to be the mepps aglia the standard bronze and if I'm feeling fancy maybe the green/red/yellow version. I carry different sizes at all times #3, #2, etc.

My go-to is the #6 shad rap in black/silver. I've had pike and muskie destroy bunches of them over the years.

They are killer for anything that swims. I've caught walleye, bass, pike, muskie, crappie, and bluegill on them.

How do you guys figure what you are fishing once out of the packaging? Me? I have several plastic containers full of shiny or painted spoons, furry fuzzy things w/ a weight up front & some things painted like a small fish w/ double treble hooks. LOL

Just found this thread. I bought one of those spittin images about 20 years ago. I swore the thing was cursed - couldn't catch a damn thing on it. I told a buddy how many times I've tried it and never got bit so he say's "let me give it a try". First cast he lands a monster crappie. Go figure.

I like Buzzbaits and Husky Jerks for pike and bass. Salmo Hornets for trout.

Those fish @zeroleft caught are probably only about four inches. No reason to hold fish at arms length right next to the camera lense unless you're trying to make them look bigger.

Rooster tales are probably the most versatile lure. They will catch anything.

    I guess that explains zeroleft.

Meh. It's supposed to be a picture that showcases a fish - not elbows. That first one is a tanker however you hold it.
