whats this part on fuel tank?

    I have the bed off my 96 Ext Cab 4x4 getting ready to do rusted frame repair and I find that the parts on my fuel tank are badly rusted , the one housing that hold the pump and sender is rough but I think ok but this other part is rusted real bad (pic is not my tank) what is it ? Thanks !!

    i think it is a vent, probably to the charcoal canister.

    Stuff and things that make it better.
    It is the fuel evaporator tube. The part # is 7738026010 and should be under 20 bucks. I think the technical name for it is cut off valve.
