I know the feeling. I was silver / white or cement and I haven't seen a cement Tacoma just 4 runner and I liked it. But all in all they are all silver or gray color just little different. But I have white now on Colorado and had it 2 vehicles back and one before that so all the colors are just al on the road,

Ok I talked to the dealer principle and he told me the Toyota remote start will be available for the Tacoma and the Tundra and will be going on sale this spring. There is no part number available as of yet. So it looks like one more winter without a remote start but I think it would be worth the wait. I have one on my Camry and it works very well.

That goes along with what my dealer told me also.

Second day with the 2018 and I swear the steering wheel feels smaller (thinner) than my 2016. It's hard to get too excited about driving essentially the exact same truck, but I'm noticing several very subtle changes. The cruise control is fantastic, my wife's car had dynamic cruise and I was always a little jealous. The auto high-beams are great, but I think they are annoying for other drivers. I had to turn them off after getting "flashed" by several oncoming drivers. Temp was 31 degrees this AM and the heated seats don't heat up as fast as the 2016 cloth, but once they warm up it's pretty nice. Seemed to bring out the leather smell, which was absent when the truck was delivered. I really wish remote start was an option. Overall I think the extra $1000 price-tag for the 2018 was worth it.

Just FYI for those considering a 2018 or waiting on a build to be delivered.

Test drove my new 2018 DCLB TRDOR today. Sweeeet! Quite the change from my current 2010 SR5 2.7 stick. Was concentrating on the transmission more than anything, trying to detect the excessive shifting we've all heard about, but it seemed pretty normal. I guess time will tell.
I gotta say, I wasn't excited about the black leather seats, but they sure as hell look much better than I thought they would. I'll pick her up tomorrow or Friday.
Oh boy! A new car payment.

Found this cement beauty at the my local Toyota today. Sticker price is listed at $41,175.
It had all the bells and whistles (premium/tech/leather) and...MANUAL TRANS! This Tacoma wasn’t listed on their website and it had the 995 delivery charge so I bet someone is about to pickup their new baby.BBC127A2-B205-4BEE-947F-08B14B0C77FA.jpg

Nice. I knew your user name looked familiar. What racks are you using on your Tacoma? I'm looking at the Thule xsporter pros

Ha! Don't think that starts for another 500 miles. I think that is a 2017 thing, I never had any issues other than the shifty transmission on my 2016....and TSB fixed that.

The paint looks like primer. lol

I'm not paying $40k for a truck that doesn't look painted.

When you look at this, do you think cheap primer paint?:D:D
I will say I don't like the chrome trim on the new 18's in cement, that bling will be coming off post haste.
