Title says it all. I have a wandering idle and a new MAF, no vacuum leaks I can find, so I'm thinking the IAC valve may be tired after 23 years.

    thanks

I did. There's about 5 out there with a wide variation in cost. I'm wondering if any cheap ones are any good....

23 years is a long time.
Makes you wonder if an aftermarket would last that long?
My vote would be OEM if not a lot more. I kind of like to stick with OEM electronics.

If I had to go after market, I’d look at Bosh or Denso.
If they even make than IAC for the truck?

Do you want the best OR the cheapest? No such thing as getting both.

Have you tried cleaning your IAC?

Also, what MAF did you get. Non OEM ones are kinda known to be junk.

I went with the one from my Dealer solved the problem.

Cleaning is always the first move they do tend to get dirty

I realized the problem had stated with a change in the weather. I replaced the intake air temperature sensor and the wandering idle went away.

Getting correct data to the computer is really key with any modern car... garbage in, garbage out, good data in, good performance out.
