    Power wont kill it, distortion is what will kill the sub. There is a balance between over powering and creating distortion. put 300watts to it and set your gains and crossover points and you will be fine

    Thanks for the reply. I ordered a kicker 400 momo amp. At 1 ohm hopefully it'll be just right.

    With a DVC 2ohm sub, you need an amp with your desired power output in either a 4ohm or 1ohm stable load
