Imagine looking from the top view, seems my rear axle is crooked ?
Passenger side has 1/2 inch less clearance to rear of wheel well.
Tried to take this pic to show what I am talking about better...
If in wrong forum, please move.

The axle isn't square with the truck. You can loosen the u-bolts and move your axle enough to square it up but then your steering wheel won't be straight to go straight down the road and you'll have to have a front end alignment done to make it right.

Alternatively, your bed might not be square to the frame. I feel like I've seen that happen more than the axle not being square to the truck. Check your gaps between your bed and your cab, and bed and bumper.

Its tough to tell from the photos but remember that you are measuring against a round surface so height plays a roll as well. The lower down the closer it will be, the higher up the farther. It might be that your back end is not level / on level ground. Is it the same when your tank is full and empty?

Measure from the front leaf spring bolt to the front of the axle on both sides, see which is different.

Does it wonder in the rear? If so axle. Most likely bed isn’t straight and it’s been reported numerous times. easy way to check is measure the gap from the bed to cab on both sides and see if the gap is the same.

Betting the bed wasn't square with the cab either, and you just didn't notice that.

If it's the bed, 6 bolts to loosen, adjust, measure, tighten. Sometimes handy to have 2 folks, so you can work both sides at the same time.

Is that a published number, or are you out there counting them as they come to the dealerships?

At least 47.2% of mine are 78.35% accurate. So there.

Have you installed a lift kit or anything in the rear of the truck? If the bed isn’t the culprit, you may have a broken centering pin on your leaf spring.

Ok, but did you do anything with the rear of the truck? Or was the leveling kit just a front spacer?

Post a link to what kit you installed

Maybe the driver side tire is worn down more than the passenger side?
