    Looking at getting some 265/70/17 Duratracs and some new wheels. Does anyone know if this tire size will work on a 9 inch wheel? Thanks.

    Also,

    With an 8" width wheel, you'll have more sidewall protection from curbs/ rocks from rashing your wheels compared to a 9" wheel.

    No it will not. The Goodyear website indicates the approved rim widths for that size duratrac is 7-8.5"
