Spend the money and go Bakflip. You won’t regret it. Had mine almost 15 months now and zero issues.

I’m sure you could find someone happy to be rid of their factory cover

Diamondback is the way to go for complete security and waterproof. A neighbor has one for over 10 years and only replaced the gasket seal once about 2 years ago. They are expensive but well worth it in my opinion.

I have a Bakflip MX4.. a couple of things to keep in mind: water will still get inside the bed, prone to dent because it's aluminum. Kind of wish I went with a diamondback, but I'm happy enough with the BF to not want to get a DB just yet.

Bak flip or undercover. Both are owned by the same company truck hero. I went with undercover because i didn't want the cover sitting against my back glass when open. Pretty much the same other than that. Both will leak around the edges. It's a toyota problem not a cover problem. Look at the gaps between the body parts on the bed. You could easily make it water tight with a caulk gun though. I just don't have the time or worry enough to do it. Dbs are nice to look at. But $$$$$$ and heavy. Not practical either if you haul Anything taller then the bed rails.

Thanks for the replys. I paid like 800 for the extang and i can deal with the leaks around the corners but when they leak in the middle of the cover is where i get pissed. I will look at the ones you guys posted
