Is there some fairy dust or something I can sprinkle on this tail light to either fix the crack or keep it from getting larger?

Super glue maybe, might not be water tight.

    Flexseal, or Flextape?

I would just replace it. The crack can lead to condensation which will ruin the light anyways and the crack itself can’t be fixed.

A replacement doesn’t cost that much and its an easy light to change.
I bought my new tail light from Amazon I think for $70. Its held up great.

This may sound ghetto, but it works .I would just buy a plastic repair patch ( used for pool liners). Cut it to shape and put it on. Will last years.

Any money or effort to try and save that tail light from getting worse, much easier to buy a new one and call it a day.

A new pair is only $100 on Ebay. I guarantee you could sell those for $50 easy on TW, and use the packaging from your new lights to ship it. Plenty of people who wheel keep spares in case they break theirs.

I like that idea. Remove the light, dremel out a "U" shape, fill with two part epoxy. It WILL be important to keep it horizontal so the epoxy settles flat and evenly.

I wouldn't use 5-minute epoxy. Id use the longer stuff so you have some working time to drip it in and watch it settle. Then add as needed.

Have a rag and some isopropyl alcohol handy to wipe up any areas where you "miss" the groove.

I like this kind of project so I'd certainly attempt it, even if I knew I was buying another light. I just like to see if I can succeed at stuff like this :)

If that epoxy isn't UV stable, it will yellow and degrade after some time in the sun. It should buy you some time for now though.
I would be tempted to groove out the crack like shown in the video and using a small brush, apply some clear acrylic paint. The lenses are acrylic so I would guess it would be compatible??
