I think the PO installed a different size on this one.

I put 19" on the driver and 18" on the passenger for a bit of extra coverage

    Just as a reference......

Any place that sells wipers has some sort of an index to determine the wiper needed. Some indexes are manual paper catalogs, others are electronic push button units.

    Really, no need to remember.

Our stable has vehicles, 8 wiper blades are needed for our fleet. No way do I try to remember which ride needs what size wiper. Every wiper is a different length. If I try to remember all that, then I'll forget the combination to my bicycle lock.

This worked without any in-motion contact or off glass over travel? I've long felt that the 17" blades are insufficient during heavy downpour. I've been hesitant to get longer blades fearing that the added length (and increased surface area contact=more drag) might put too much stress on the wiper motors and burn them up or wear them out faster...pretty sure they're the oem's.

Lil tech tip I saw on a 1980’s VW car magazine many years ago…..

You can move pass side arm ‘up’ a few splines on the wiper shaft for faster coverage
    Not level but does work
    Too each his own.
