I have a 2015 Toyota Tacoma DCSB SR5 4X4. I want to get a lift that will fit 33X12.50 with 20x12 in rim. I could go for a 20x10 if need be though. I really want to avoid doing a cab mount chop if possible. Especially due to the fact I can’t weld and also since it’s pretty new in the first place. I don’t mind trimming the fender down if I have to. I have seen people do this set up on a 3 in lift. I’m worried if I get a 6 in lift, it’s gonna look like I don’t have big enough tires. Any suggestions?

It's not a matter of lift, unless you severely limit travel. You can fit those on a stock height Taco. It's a matter of how much of the truck you're willing to trim off.

My ideal goal is to not trim anything at all. My question is, how much lift would I need for the least amount of trimming possible

The width of the wheel is the first thing that’s going to cause rubbing. With that wheel the further outboard its going to rub and if offset inward tire will rub spindle. Also, a lift is only relative to the height of the truck when it’s just sitting there but as soon as you start driving hitting bumps and making turns the tires at some point will be where they would be if stock. Maybe slight limited uptravel depending on lift. You might be ok with a drop bracket style lift but I kind of doubt it. If you do try it I definitely wouldn’t go above the 10” wide wheel
