    Looking for battery advice.
Dealer replaced OEM 24F 725 CCA Battery with 24F 575 CCA/130 RC Battery under the 24 month warranty in our 2020 Tacoma V-6. OEM battery lasted 18 months then failed at 40 CCA per techs testing.
Anyone with knowledge of this situation would be appreciated.
    Thank you all, be safe.

Pretty sure around 575 CCA is stock. I was kind of surprised by that. Mine lasted about 16 months, we had a few days of -10 and it was done. Didn’t even bother with the warranty, figured they’d just put another shitty OEM battery in there.

Just somewhat of an educated guess. If your OEM battery was a 775cca battery is your truck equipped with a tow package or offroad pkg.? That may be difference as to why both 775cca and 575cca could be OEM. I would make them replace with identical battery if the one that went bad was original.

My 014 has been through 3 OEM batteries in 65k miles. Has tow package with big std alternator. Now trying an Interstate equal to original CCA. Arizona heat eats batteries - but my old F-150 went 7 years on its "Diehard" in the same heat for four years following three sub-zero winter years in Wyoming. For some reason the Toyota seems to kill them. Deeper starting drain? Goofy voltage regulator?

True Dat regarding Arizona. We just replace all of our car batteries every 2 years regardless. Usually first week of June.
No need to spend bookooo money on one either, you can spend $89.99, $199.99, or $399.99 .... in 2 years it's done.

I just replaced my OE 575 cca battery after 63 months and 61,000 miles with a Duracell 725 cca battery.

Have them replace the battery as under warranty, buy an Odyssey AGM battery and sell the new OE battery to recoup a couple $.

If you camp a lot and use accessories like a electric refrigerator or winch, get one with the most amps that the tray can fit.

I moved my OEM battery to the opposite corner and use it as a spare.

    Thanks for all responses!!
Dealership advisor stated all Tacoma's at factory are equipped with same battery, one size fits all.
Once warrantied battery is replaced with the correct application for the model/trim level regardless of what customer has added. Our Tacoma is stock RWD TRD OFF ROAD. Battery starts vehicle like it should.
