For those that financed. What is your interest rate?

As I look to purchase Gen 4 I’m just curious as to what others are getting for their interest rate. Also would like to know if it’s through Toyota Financial.

My good friend financed his 24 Sport through Navy Federal at 4.54%.
My other friend who is not a vet is paying 7.29% through his local credit union.

My credit union gave me a 6.9%. BOA is at 6.29 at the moment.

Since what you are offered relies heavily on your own credit criteria, take what you read here with a grain of salt.

More just out of curiosity. Toyota website shows 9.71% with excellent credit. I just thought that was pretty insane and wanted to get an idea on how accurate it is.

I’m a veteran and currently USAA member. Might need to make the switch to Navy Federal. USAA is very strict when giving out loans.

A nearby sleazy dealership is trying to make financing mandatory through Toyota and no other institution (they let my friend know this after her sales guy walked out the finance manger's office). She was told "oh, no no, cash is no longer king. Not in today's economy." Mmmmkay.

5.25% for 48 months at USAA. Didn't check with Navy Federal dammit.

Dealer had 9.something. Said no deals in the near future since they're new and selling fast.

Most women should never go to a dealership without a man. Sad to say, but every one of them pulls sleazy shit on single women.

They have dealerships in the kitchen now? Mind blowing the lengths dealers will go to sell a car.

Not to get too far off topic, but it's one reason the Tesla purchase process is appealing to buyers who get steamrolled at traditional dealers.

Sorry, I meant deals on financing. Yes, they'll do other things. Mine threw in a bed mat and all weather floor liners.

5.25% is pretty good. I’ll have to give USAA a shot.

Former sales director, many women are better negotiators than men. They see it as a transaction and are not as emotionally invested in the purchase versus a man.

Your post comes off chauvinistic, just sayin. Men are idiots. Can’t recall how many times I’ve seen a negotiation where a guy says he wants to be $45,000 OTD, you hit their figure on the dime and then they say, “well I really need to be $500/mo”. These are also educated guys who should be able to do simple math. So glad to be out of that mindfuck job.

Yeah, I'm probably a chauvinist. So fucking what? I won't bother to give you my "former" resume, but suffice to say I've seen enough of the sharks circling when an obviously intimidated female steps on the lot.

See, I disagree. I do not think the post comes off as chauvinistic at all. Simply pointing out an unfortunate reality or conclusion someone has come to over time does not make that person inherently bad or wrong. The perspective that I would take is that the car sales industry seems to be populated by chauvinistic persons thus leading to the less than desirable experience that many have in that industry. Why do we attack people for opinions or observations? We now have a society that feels they can label or discredit someone for sharing an opinion with no knowledge of the experiences they have had. We use “words and labels” that trigger the masses to take away from the credibility of the statement. I see where “a woman should take a man” can seem off putting in today’s climate. This has little to nothing to do with the woman or man however and much more to do with an industry of sales people where the lack of a moral compass is viewed as a good thing.
Now, on the flip side you have the right to whatever opinion you have also. But, on forums such as this I feel we should probably not try to apply labels to one another. Typically, and most of the time this is done to try and apply the dog pile effect that is so easy for people to succumb to these days. State your counterpoint but do so without labeling the person with a differing view point.
