Just wondering what you guys have used the outlet for.

Last year, I had the power go out on me while I was smoking some beef jerky on my Traeger. I still had about 2 hours to go until the jerky was done so I plugged her into my truck. Finished off the jerky using the outlet. Also learned that I can take and smoke my traeger anywhere I please.

A few months after that I went to a 3 day music festival and brought my Keurig thinking I could make a nice cup a coffee in the morning after partying all night. My neighbors and myself where pretty disappointed when we realized that a coffee maker requires more than the 3.6 amps it provides.

So what have you guys powered or attempted to power?

My buddy bought a floor model Christmas tree from Sears, lights and all. I tied it down and plugged it in. Lucky he didn't live too far.

Weed whacker? I tried using my 1 gallon mini shop vac. Although it ran it was not enough power for full suck. Lol

Yea...it was just enough juice to get the job done. I don't think I tripped the cutoff either.

I had to revive this thread as just I found out I can run the fan and ignition source for my propane water heater. This coupled with my propane range, gas logs, and wall heater mean I am pretty much self sufficient without a generator! All I need now is one of those electric coolers that run off the outlet in the cab and I'm good to go.
