Check my gallery, page 15 I think for a couple more pics. . I salvaged the nipple from the resonator and used rtv to glue it into the pvc cap

    Nicely done.
What did you do with the line from the power steering to resonator? Mine has two lines, the one you have pictured and another coming from the power steering pump.

My mpg is almost the same as yours, 13 or so mpg. I can't find anything wrong with my truck. I think it's a problem with the 2.7/auto not being efficient with lift and larger tires. Just not enough guts

I re-installed my bed liner. It was old and faded so I removed it, cleaned it, and used satin black Rustoleum paint for plastic to paint it. It looks fresh again...not quite new, but nice. While it was off, I sanded multiple spots on the bed where the liner has rubbed over the years. Then I sprayed those spots with self-etching primer to protect it. I think it's a small detail that really helps the overall appearance of the truck. I intend to get a nice Line-X liner in the future. It was a fun and easy little project.

    Yea that's what I figured.

Ah nice, I guess there kind of is two resonators on mine too.. But I can't really cap the second one because its a one piece metal pipe/housing. I think capping just the one will be good enough for now but I hope to eventually come up with something for the other one. Luckily there are no vac lines going to the easy resonator to remove so it will literally be just a cap.

I got a quote for line x this morning. I hate the plastic liner. They quoted me $495. More than I was expecting.

Hmm maybe.. Have you regeared? I'm getting closer to 10mpg in reality w/o regear.

I'd love to have it done but it is a lot. I'd much rather put that towards new ucas. But it does need to be done.

Finally just ordered a u bolt flip from relentless fab.. Seemed like the best price for the quality.
I've had my shocks relocated for like a year w/o the flip haha..

While I agree only OEM for LBJ's I feel confident my 555 otre's will do just fine. I do see them rusting a little like Tyler said, def want to paint mine soon.

that tube, combined with my K&N drop in and a 6" deck plate make my engine scream at high rpms. It's super loud. There's a video in my build thread if you wanna hear it
