I just do it visually, it's pretty hard to see anything less than a mm with how I check them with a prybar. You should be able to use a dial indicator though. Been meaning to do another side by side comparison and keep better track of things.

No I did not. I wish LCE had told me of their upgrade kit when I ordered the other parts.

Anybody in the market for 4.30 diffs? 8.4"/open rear. Looked at a truck in the junkyard that had some. Might go back for 'em, just because.

The truck also had the carpeted back wall. Wrong color for my truck, but I snagged it to see if I can retrofit anyway. That might end up for sale soon. The donor truck is a 2000 with the blue/gray interior, trim code FG10 in case anyone's interested.

The last back wall carpet I sold went for $350 with the top plastic trim for the bottom of the window. You scored on that. If you decide to use it you can always grab a bottle of black rit and die it black.

So bigger issue than the color is that my cab (1998, bare back wall) doesn't have all the holes and slots needed for the trim pieces around the carpet. I'd have to either drill/cut or use adhesive. Have you done that retrofit before?

I did do it. I just marked the location of the clips on the back wall and than just drilled 2 holes for each and Dremeled out the in-between. I can take Pic tomorrow. Did you grab the side panels the go up the wall behind the seatbelts?
