It’s great. Even better if you have a battery powered compressor. On sale right now. Check out the “Deals” thread

Are you going to remove that piece where the body mount is, for more clearance?

@Btcomcast I just bought this this morning and seeing your pic I might be regretting it. IS it "rubbery" to help to keep stuff from sliding around back there? It kind of looks like say if you had a plastic tub back there it will still slide around.

its not like the rubber mat however its pretty sticky, I like the raised edges, but nothing will beat a oem rubber mat for stickiness :)

I have the OEM and love it. It's heavy and lays completely flat and doesn't cover the tie downs. The best part..........Got it for $110 shipped!

From what I read on Gen 3s it was a body mount but for us its just a 3 bolt safety plate for keeping the tire from pushing into that cab on front offset impact. Not something I would really like to part with and I should clear it. Its the 0 offset that has me also pushing into the XL Fenders. Also a few notes for anyone else planning on pushing the limits: Im pretty sure the ICON UCAs actually move the connection to the spindle rearward a little bit which moves you closer to hitting on rear but lets you have a a significantly increased caster angle. I found an alignment shop that is currently giving me 2020 specs for Toe/Camber but maxing my caster forward beyond stock to the max we can go and keep the other two in line. That should get everything where it needs to be and worst case, have some rubbing in front that does not require removal of body parts.

Installed the Extang Solid Fold ALX tonneau cover from RealTruck.com, shipped quickly and arrived within a week, customer support was also good and answered all my questions via chat.

Almost no tools needed, other than a socket wrench to remove a few bolts in the back to install the latch bracket.
Overall pretty straight forward, instructions pretty good, Youtube video also helped a lot. The only tricky part was fitting and aligning the rear latch mechanism to make it open/close just right, this took the longest for me.

Everything else was pretty quick. Seals looks pretty tight for not needing to stick / bolt on anything, might look to improve but I really don't expect more than a few drops seeping in.

(one small OCD trigger is that I noticed after that the overall alignment was just a .5-1" skewed to one side, but I really don't want to unbolt and realign all the latches again. Always measure twice I guess LOL).

Also finally put on the OEM bed mat. I also really like it, heavier and more solid than I thought, the rubber surface is sticky enough that my towing tote box wouldn't slide around.
