I'm using the Germes Lab controller. Plugs right into my head unit wiring and video port.

Does it also bypass the in-motion restriction for menus? That was a benefit of my old harness as well.

Not sure what you mean...it is anytime, if that's where you were going. And the controls are through steering wheel buttons for the head unit.

Installed the grille and raptor lights I got from kokautoparts. Love it!

I’m a little nervous how I got the wires around the fuse and also the cover is not completely closed but so far no problems with the sensors.

Installed the trd lift kit a few months back and wasn’t super happy with how the rear felt with any weight in the bed and towing. Decided to remove the 1” blocks and do a single AAL. I kept the overload leaf in. Was sitting pretty level at around 37” from ground to fender on all 4 corners before. Now I am at around 38.5” from ground to fender in the rear and think it’ll probably settle to around 38” to give me a 1” rake. It drives much better than with the block. Bumps I used to go over on my normal commute that made me cringe now feel like nothing. It’s super smooth and feels much more robust. Don’t have many photos but can always take more or answer any questions if anyone would like. I’d recommend skipping a block and do an AAL if you plan to have any weight in your bed/tow. Obviously a complete leaf pack would’ve been nice, but the single AAL only cost me $100 vs $1000+ for new leafs. Also, I decided on a single AAL over a progressive AAL pack because I do tow my boat occasionally.

Nice. I went straight to the AAL pack with new Bilstein shocks all around. The difference is night and day, as you mentioned.

I noticed a big difference in ride when I went from stock to the trd lift kit, and then even more so when I did the AAL. Couldn’t be happier for what I paid. Time will tell how well the stock leafs hold up with the AAL though.

Bronze wheels on black Tacoma. Scored these wheels and tires on Facebook marketplace. Tires at 90% tread. Perfect timing, someone bought my previous wheels and tires just a couple hours later. Including the sale of old set, total cost of new set was $1200.

AWE Exhaust, KARTBOY exhaust hangers, custom 1/0 exhaust grounding, lots of Titanium hardware from my old builds, silly JDM bits from my old Subaru builds, Uniden Bearcat Off Road CB, Firestik 2 w/custom CF mount, custom KARTBOY plate frame with Rigid Ind Spot on ball head mount, Yakima Mega Warrior w/custom CF cross brace. ARP extended studs (not installed yet), Optima Red Top, Siless Insulation in cab. Diode Dynamics LEDs throughout... More titanium fasteners. K&N intake snorkus delete. Greddy hose clamps throughout. DBA 4000XS Brake Rotors. TRD PRO fogs. Dakine Tail Gate Pad. More to come of course.
My expanded metal radiator protection was not staying in place simply pressed into place. Its a tight fit but, freeway speeds push it out of place. I had some carbon fiber bits laying around from my Pelican case project and had an idea. (A little bummed I had to use steel rivets as the plastic rivet gun wouldnt fit into the CF pieces...) Plus, it was over 110 deg so why not play outside? Note the bush, in the background, burned from the sun.

cancelled the order for factory LCAs since they are backordered everywhere, ordered Moog LCAs, will rebuild the factory control arms at some point in the next 25-30k miles to have on standby. Really wish someone made a good aftermarket upgrade for the ball joint. detailed the interior yesterday, engine bay and exterior will be this week/weekend.

Rebuilt my starter last night after some recent deep water submersions it was pretty corroded and finally completely stopped working yesterday. Easy to do and saved $200+IMG_0118.jpg
