Plus is the truck is garage kept with 5k miles. Fingers crossed. He's suppose to call me by tomorrow, I'm saying he won't. That will be another war.

After 2 years of fence sitting and exhaustive research I got the truck tuned today. As been stated here a million times before, this is the way it should have left the factory.

Now that takes care of the eco based software. The eco based hardware is a vastly more expensive part of the equation. But I’m mostly stock so the software helps immensely. Now it doesn’t race to get you into the next highest gear right away only to go back down a gear right away. Throttle input is noticeably improved too. I opted for Light/Medium as my truck is used as a daily driver.

Is this the same JBL that comes in the pro?

I see a lot of complaints about the JBL, that it sounds bad, doesn't get loud, etc., yet I have zero issues with mine so I'm guessing it's not all the same. Mine is plenty loud even for my shit hearing, and I've never thought the quality was poor.

Drove to work, noticed that I had some tire slippage due to me using too much tire mounting paste and putting it where it doesn't belong. Going to live with the issue for now, lesson learned for the next set of tires I mount.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Sounds like time for a re-balance.

I’m with you on the volume front.
All I can figure is that has to do with input source. I basically use exclusively Bluetooth but the volume difference between the music app and Spotify is substantial. Even using the much quieter music app, my volume never goes above 35. 27 or 28 tops for Spotify.
Never used the wired input because I don’t have CarPlay or aux input. Seems archaic after being wireless

I use Tasker to automatically set my phones bluetooth media volume when it connects to the truck. I haven't noticed any volume difference between apps, but I really only ever use Spotify and Audible.

Focal + JL is the way, but I'm bias lol.

To me, the JBL 'upgrade' is pretty trash, but I've put systems in every car I've owned for the last 19 years. The JBL actually has decent clarity but absolutely no bass; it is however lightyears ahead of the stock system these trucks come equipped with. TBH it's probably fine for most people, but if you're like me and looking to swap in high end products from Focal and JL you'd never be happy with any oem system in the first place. By now I've learned to just buy my vehicles with the lowest spec I can get that has the options I want because I know I'm going to tailor everything else to my tastes.

Just noting there’s differences in volume based on input source and connection method

maybe when I do the brakes in a week or 2, the tire only shifted by about 2 inches, and they are LT duratracs so While the balance is probably thrown off right now, it isn't bad enough for me to care to check and correct every tire.

After time to settle, the rear went down to around 1/2 of factory rake. With how it was prior, with any moderate load it would tend to squat, which is almost as bad as factory rake. Since I don't have 500 lbs in the bed, I like this compromise. It works for me for now.
I think its similar to the TE suspension hight specs.

I’m not complaining about the clarity. Like you I agree it’s great for what it is. Ya I didn’t want this spec but it came with the truck I bought. So now I just get to build another system. Again like you I always upgrade the sound system and yes focal and jl is the way sir!
