Nice find! Thanks for sharing this. At that price it’s a no-brainer. I see they’re coming out with a kit for 2016-present Tacoma auto with e-locker. Bookmarked the page.

Thanks again for sharing this and let us know your thoughts on the install and fitment, etc.

This AJT key fob didn’t even last a full year.

So far they’re great. I installed them at my brothers house 6 miles away. As soon as I drove it out of his garage I could feel the difference. No more sag or bouncy suspension with the weight that I’ve got in back. Since it’s not sagging the weight that’s supposed to be up front is back up front again, so it steers like it’s supposed to. I drove through 4 round about on the way home. Not nearly the body roll it had before, but with ~400 lbs back there right now there is some and I can still feel that and that’s to be expected. If the weight was to be back there all the time I would have replaced the springs, but the weight should normally be just every so often. It seems to accelerate a little better too since the RAS helps to cut back on axle wrap too. As I drive it more I’ll have to give more updates.

My brother has airbags on his F250 and he’s happy with them, but this morning he told me that one of them has a leak. The nice thing about my set up is it’s set it and forget it.

That’s too bad. I see people use cases for their fobs, why?

Here is a thought ... that damage inflicted on the fob itself, or on the cheaper case? Or maybe that makes no sense. :notsure:

    Enough for now
one of the funniest posts I saw on TW was a member saying he will drink beer while working on his truck but his wife cuts the 220w power to the garage so he can’t weld if he gets into the liquor. Keeps them from ruining his truck or body beyond repair

    What happened?
My AJT case has held up better that the OEM case for 2 years of off road use so far.

Either the resin to make this batch has quality issues, or I dropped it too many times lol I’ve had OEM stuff that’s lasted years. My AJT has hairline cracks on the front as well.

Despite the weather today I got motivated to pop on the tent, awning and different light bar brackets so I didn't have to trim the new prinsu fairing.

Not so much a case that would go over the oem fob, but new shells that completely replace the oem plastic are really popular. Reason? Aesthetics mostly. They come in colors and look cooler. One brand even has different color buttons

    Just curious,

but did you install bed stiffeners for the topper's additional weight?. I have seen a few discussions where people are saying the tacoma bed is not strong enough on its own for toppers.

I dont imagine an ARE topper weighs that much though.

As I found out when I went to put stiffeners on recently my old shell did bend out my bed slightly. Pretty sure I posted a picture in here already.
